Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Supplies pair of assists

Nichushkin notched two assists, five shots on goal and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Bruins.

Nichushkin helped out on Kurtis MacDermid's opening tally and Gabriel Landeskog's game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation. With two multi-point efforts in his last three outings, Nichushkin is once again thriving on the second line. The Russian winger has 11 goals, 10 assists, 65 shots on net, 42 hits and a plus-13 rating in 25 appearances this season, putting him on track for career-high scoring numbers. He's already matched his point total from 55 contests last year.
