Nichushkin scored a goal on three shots and levied four hits in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Predators.
Nichushkin gave the Avalanche some extra breathing room in the third period. He's on a roll lately with four goals in his last five games. The Russian winger is up to five tallies, three helpers, 20 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-9 rating in nine contests overall. He's often been a third-liner in his time with the Avalanche, but he's played well enough to earn a second-line job this season.
