Kayumov has signed a one-year extension with the Lokomotiv of the KHL, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Kayumov still hopes to sign with the Blackhawks in 2023-24, but the 24-year-old winger will remain in Russia for the upcoming season. He picked up 19 points through 42 appearances with Lokomotiv this season.
