Slavin was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Sunday, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.
Slavin featured in nine games with the big club since the beginning of December, contributing a lone assist in a modest 11:23 of average ice time. He'll return to the IceHogs, where he's fared considerably better offensively with eight points in 15 contests this season.
