Blackhawks' Patrick Maroon: Not playing Saturday

Maroon (lower body) will miss Saturday's matchup versus Buffalo, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.

Maroon was injured blocking a shot against the Sharks on Thursday. He has one assist and 10 hits in five games this season. With Maroon and Joey Anderson (illness) unavailable, Andreas Athanasiou and Ryan Donato will suit up in Saturday's contest.
