Jones (thumb) hopes to be back in the lineup Wednesday at Dallas, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Jones was a full participant in Tuesday's practice. It is believed he will do his best to convince the Blackhawks to allow him to play in his hometown. Jones has missed the past 10 games with a right thumb injury.
