Blue Jackets' David Savard: Out approximately four weeks

Savard will miss approximately four weeks with what's been deemed an oblique strain, Shawn Mitchell of the Columbus Dispatch reports.

Savard's injury was initially listed as upper body, but the team has now specified and given an exact timetable. It wouldn't be surprising if the blueliner ends up on injured reserve because of it, but that move hasn't been made yet. His projected timeline would put Savard's return date at some time during the middle of February, but more clarity should come on that as it approaches.
