Merzlikins has posted a 16-12-1 record with a 3.39 GAA and .904 save percentage over 29 games this season. At home, the Canadiens have gone 5-15-1 while averaging 31.3 shots on goal and 2.14 goals for, ranking 20th and 32nd, respectively. Columbus defeated Montreal 6-3 in their last meeting Jan. 30, but Merzlikins did not make an appearance. The Canadiens are currently in the midst of an eight-game losing streak.
