Korpisalo stopped 29 shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Sabres.
The 27-year-old netminder didn't play as badly as the final score suggests -- two of Buffalo's tallies came on the power play -- but Korpisalo owed a big thank you to Columbus' goal-scorers after this one. He's 3-3-0 on the season, but his 3.63 GAA and .894 save percentage suggest this isn't the first time luck, and offensive support, have been on his side this season. Korpisalo will remain firmly behind Elvis Merzlikins in the pecking order for the Jackets unless he can heat up.
