Blue Jackets' Justin Richards: Signs one-year contract

Richards signed a one-year, two-way contract with Columbus on Monday.

Richards had been playing with AHL Cleveland on an AHL deal. He has six goals and 17 points in 23 games for Columbus' top minor-league affiliate this season. According to the AHL transaction page, Richards was loaned to the Monsters on Monday following the completion of his new two-way contract.
