Sedlak centered the fourth line for the Blue Jackets on Sunday and opened the scoring with a shorthanded penalty-shot goal in a 4-1 win over the Devils.

Alexander Wennberg (neck) was held out as a precaution after taking a big hit the night before, allowing Sedlak to draw back into the lineup. His successful penalty shot was one of two for the Jackets on the night -- Brandon Dubinsky scored the second -- making them just the third team in NHL history to convert two penalty shots in the same game. Sedlak will likely return to the press box once Wennberg is healthy.
