Kostin (upper body) was back at practice Monday and appears to have avoided any long-term injuries, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Kostin likely was held out for precautionary reasons from Saturday's preseason contest in which he sustained his upper-body issue. The 22-year-old winger is poised to challenge for a top-six role with the Blues this year and should avoid any time in the minors with a ceiling likely in the 20-30 point range.
