MacEachern was placed on waivers for assignment to AHL Springfield on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
MacEachern logged one assist in eight games with the Blues last year before his season ended prematurely due to a shoulder injury. The 30-year-old winger will likely open the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, where he'll provide some forward depth for St. Louis.
