Perunovich is over his illness, but he's not expected to play Friday, Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Perunovich has five assists (three on the power play) in 14 appearances since he joined the Blues in mid-November. The 23-year-old will sit in favor of Marco Scandella in Friday's game versus the Stars.
