Bruins' Alex Steeves: Recalled by Boston

Steeves was called up from AHL Providence on Saturday, according to Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal.

Steeves had three goals and five assists in nine AHL games before his recall. The Bruins placed Elias Lindholm (lower body) on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Steeves could replace John Beecher (upper body), who left Thursday's game versus Ottawa in the first period and did not return.
