Marchand received a three-game suspension for slew-footing Oliver Ekman-Larsson during Sunday's win over Vancouver.
Marchand will miss the next three games, including Saturday's showdown with the Lightning, and will be eligible to return Dec. 8 for a rematch with the Canucks. The superstar winger has racked up nine goals and 24 points this season, including 16 points over his last 11 appearances. Taylor Hall will likely move up to the first line in his absence.
