Bruins' Ian Mitchell: Designated as injured non-roster

Mitchell was placed on the injured non-roster list for an undisclosed reason Monday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.

While it's not yet clear what injury Mitchell is dealing with, it appears as though he'll be sidelined to begin the regular season. He made just 13 appearances for the Bruins last year, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend time in the minors once he's healthy.
