Bruins' Jeffrey Viel: Up from minors

Viel was called up by Boston on Friday.

Viel has eight goals, 26 points and 130 PIM over 51 appearances with AHL Providence in 2024-25. He might draw into the Bruins' lineup Saturday versus Pittsburgh, especially with Trent Frederic (lower body) on the shelf.
