Swayman will protect the road goal Wednesday versus the Sabres, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
Linus Ullmark (undisclosed) will serve as the backup after tweaking something during the morning skate. Swayman lost his last start, a 4-0 shutout against the Flames, but he had won his four previous games. In those five starts, he's given up 11 goals, and he'll be facing a Sabres team that doesn't pose too much of a threat.
