Korpisalo stopped 22 of 25 shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Korpisalo's second start with the Bruins was a noticeable improvement on his debut. All three Avalanche goals came on the power play, so Korpisalo still needs to work on being the best penalty killer on the ice as the goalie often needs to be. The 30-year-old is 1-1-0 with nine goals allowed on 60 shots through two starts. It's safe to assume Jeremy Swayman will be between the pipes for Saturday's game in Utah.
