Kuhlman (undisclosed) practiced in a red (non-contact) jersey Tuesday, Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now reports.

The 25-year-old, who notched a goal and six points in 25 games with Boston last season, could be eased back into the mix, but once he's up to speed, Kuhlman is a candidate to see bottom-six forward duty for the team.
