Lohrei inked a two-year, entry-level contract with Boston on Wednesday.
Lohrei scored four goals and 32 points in 40 NCAA games with Ohio State University in 2022-23. He also registered an assist in five outings with AHL Providence while playing on an amateur tryout offer. Boston selected Lohrei with the No. 58 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
