Montoya (lower body) is "really close" to returning, per Canadiens coach Claude Julien, Joe Yerdon of NHL.com reports.
Montoya has effectively been ruled out for Wednesday's road tilt with the Sabres, but there appears to be a chance that he'll be ready for a back-to-back set to cap off the regular season, starting with Friday's home game against the Lightning. Prior to his injury, he'd been starting about once every four or five games.
