Shaw scored a third-period goal and collected 17 penalty minutes during Tuesday's loss to Anaheim.

Shaw received a fighting major during the first period before pulling the Habs within a goal by scoring with two minutes left in the game. However, he took a hooking penalty with 28 seconds left, displayed his anger with the call, and was handed a 10-minute misconduct. It wasn't ideal for Montreal, but fantasy owners received a nice boost in the PIM column. Shaw's up to 58 PIM for the year, which helps mitigate the offensive hit of his underwhelming five goals and nine points through 23 games. At this point, Shaw's fantasy value is almost entirely dependent on his frequent trips to the sin bin.
