Kulak accepted a pass back to the point from Ryan Poehling and quickly feed Jeff Petry at the other point to set up Montreal's first goal. It was the third point in the last six games for Kulak, who is up to 11 points through 44 games. He was paired Petry on the first unit defense, as interim head coach Martin St. Louis moved the left-shooting Ben Chiarot to the right side on the second pair.
