Allen (concussion) skated Monday but has not yet been cleared to play versus Washington on Wednesday, John Lu of TSN.ca reports.
Allen went 1-2-1 in his previous five outings, along with a 3.24 GAA, prior to suffering his concussion. With Carey Price (knee) still sidelined, the 31-year-old Allen figures to take over as the No. 1 option between the pipes once given the all-clear.
