Canadiens' Jake Evans: Day-to-day after late exit

Evans (upper body) left Tuesday's game versus the Panthers in the third period but avoided serious injury, Eric Engels of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Evans is considered day-to-day going forward. It's unclear if he'll be able to play Thursday versus the Hurricanes -- if not, the Canadiens may have to summon another forward from AHL Laval with five other forwards already out with injuries.
