Canadiens' Jeff Petry: Sustains lower-body injury

Petry (lower body) left Thursday's game versus the Panthers and will undergo further evaluation, Eric Engels of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Petry left the game in the second period and didn't return. Head coach Martin St. Louis expects more information on Petry's status should be available Friday, so he can be considered day-to-day ahead of Saturday's game versus the Maple Leafs.
