Drouin scored a shorthanded goal and had an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Pittsburgh. He added three shots on net and one hit over 18:30 of ice time.

Drouin displayed nifty stick-handling in tight, switching from forehand to backhand to beat Tristan Jarry for Montreal's first goal. He later assisted on Jesse Ylonen's first NHL goal. The two-point night was his second in the last four games, and Drouin has figured in five of the 10 goals the Canadiens have scored during a seven-game losing streak (0-6-1). The winger is up to 16 points through 24 games.
