Harris signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Montreal on Saturday.
Harris notched five goals and 15 helpers in 39 games for Northeastern University this season. Selected by the Habs in the third round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old defenseman could be an option to immediately join the team at the NHL level, which would burn a year off his entry-level deal.
