Barron had an assist, one shot on net and one blocked shot over 20:43 of ice time in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Panthers.
Barron, recently acquired from Colorado in the Artturi Lehkonen trade, posted his first NHL point in his second game with the Canadiens. He was the secondary helper while Nick Suzuki did most of the work to set up a Joel Edmundson goal. He's skating on the second pair and should finish out the season in the NHL.
