Bains was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Friday.
Bains is returning to the Canucks after being reassigned to the minors Thursday. The 23-year-old hasn't played for Abbotsford in 2024-25, but he has appeared in three outings with the Canucks, recording no points, one shot, six hits and one block in that span.
