Halak surrendered three goals on 42 shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

The Canucks led 2-1 about midway through the third period, but the Bruins cashed in on a couple of power plays to send Halak to another loss. At this point, the 36-year-old goalie should consider it progress that the Canucks gave him multiple goals of support. He's 0-4-1 with a 2.85 GAA and a .910 save percentage in six appearances overall. Halak will likely return to the backup role Monday versus the Canadiens, as Thatcher Demko is expected to start that contest.
