Lankinen will be in net for Monday's road exhibition contest against Edmonton, according to Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton.
Lankinen could start the season as Vancouver's No. 1 netminder if Thatcher Demko (knee) and Arturs Silovs aren't fully healthy. Lankinen has a record of 45-43-12 with a .905 save percentage and a 3.07 GAA in 112 career regular-season appearances.
