Suter (undisclosed) is being evaluated after getting hurt in Monday's exhibition contest against Edmonton, according to Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Suter still could be an option for Friday's preseason finale against Edmonton. If he isn't available to play against Calgary on Oct. 9, Nils Aman may replace him in the Opening Night lineup. The 28-year-old Suter notched 14 goals and 29 points in 67 games during the 2023-24 regular season.
