Canucks' Pius Suter: Out of action Wednesday

Suter (upper body) won't play versus the Flames on Wednesday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

Suter was considered a game-time decision, but he didn't take the ice for warmups. The 28-year-old forward will miss the season opener, and Aatu Raty will fill a bottom-six role in his stead. Suter's next chance to play is Friday versus the Flyers.
