Patterson signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Vancouver on Monday.
The Canucks returned Patterson to OHL Niagara on Sunday. The 19-year-old forward had 25 goals and 59 points in 64 OHL regular-season appearances with Barrie last campaign. Vancouver selected him in the fourth round, 125th overall, of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
