Demko gave up three goals on 20 shots in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Blue Jackets. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Demko took his sixth loss in his last seven games, and this one came in arguably one of the best defensive showings the Canucks have had all year. Nothing's going right for the 25-year-old netminder, who slipped to 6-10-1 with a 3.07 GAA and a .904 save percentage through 17 appearances. Despite the struggles, he's played the second-most minutes of any goalie in the league (995:23) and should continue to draw most of the starts in net over Jaroslav Halak, who hasn't been much better.
