Capitals' Garrett Pilon: Sent to AHL

Pilon was reassigned to AHL Hershey on Saturday, Samantha Pell of The Washington Post reports.

Pilon was the odd-man out when the Capitals picked up Nicolas Aube-Kubel off waivers from Toronto on Saturday. Pilon was a healthy scratch in both games since his recall from Hershey. He has a goal and five points in seven games with AHL Hershey this year.
