Schultz recorded an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-2 win over the Jets.
The puck caromed off of Schultz and Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck before Conor Sheary sniped in the game-winning tally. Through 27 games, Schultz has just five points with 21 shots on net, 32 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. He's been limited to a bottom-four role for much of the season, and a reduction in power-play time has sapped his offensive contributions after he put up 27 points in 46 outings last year.
