Persson will spend the 2024-25 season on loan with Jukurit (Finland), the club announced Wednesday.
Persson will once again remain overseas rather than coming to North America. Selected by the Capitals in the third round of the 2022 NHL Draft, the 20-year-old winger may be facing an uphill battle to secure an NHL roster spot at some point in the future.
