Vermette (lower body) has been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Rangers, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.

Saturday will mark the fourth game Vermette has missed with a lower-body injury that has been nagging him since he suffered the ailment on Oct. 15 in a matchup with Minnesota. The Coyotes will likely hold the 33-year-old center out of action until he's fully recovered from the ding, as otherwise it may turn into an issue that bothers Vermette for the duration of the season. Vermette's availability for Monday's tilt against Anaheim is looking iffy at best at this point in time.
