Raanta was acquired by the Coyotes -- along with Derek Stepan -- from the Rangers in exchange for the No. 7 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft and Anthony DeAngelo.

After coming away unscathed in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, Raanta will become the presumptive No. 1 in the desert -- despite the presence of Chad Johnson and Louis Domingue. The 28-year-old Raanta spent two seasons behind veteran Henrik Lundqvist and was never going to get a shot at the starting job in New York. With just one year left on his contract, it was all but inevitable that the Finn would be moved. In his 29 appearances last year, Raanta logged a 16-8-2 record with four shutouts and a 2.26 GAA. Fantasy owners in need of help between the pipes may want to jump on the chance to secure the highly touted netminder.
