Speers was reassigned to AHL Tucson on Saturday.
Speers made his first NHL appearance since 2016-17 in Friday's 6-5 overtime win over the Ducks. He logged two hits, two blocked shots and two PIM in 7:19 of ice time. He'll return to Tucson for now, but he could be back on the big club's roster for Tuesday's game versus the Kraken if the Coyotes are in need of forward depth.
