Vejmelka stopped 36 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Canadiens.
The Coyotes roared out to a 5-1 lead in the second period, but two late goals eight seconds apart by Cole Caufield made things a little nervous for Arizona heading into intermission. Vejmelka regained his focus over the break, however, and shut down the Montreal attack the rest of the way. The 25-year-old has won three of his last four starts, posting a 2.26 GAA and .940 save percentage during that stretch, and he could be close to breaking out of a timeshare with Scott Wedgewood and reclaiming the top spot in the crease.
