Cooley signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Arizona on Thursday.
Cooley had 22 goals and 60 points in 39 NCAA contests with the University of Minnesota last season. Arizona took him with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. Cooley is likely to make the Coyotes' opening game roster, and he might even serve in a top-six capacity.
