Rieder (ankle) is projected to skate at right wing this season, Craig Morgan of Arizona Sports reports.
As Morgan alluded to, Rieder spent some time on the right wing in 2016-17, and the reason he's likely to continue there is that it's a position of need for the Coyotes. Rieder recorded a career-best 16 goals in 80 games last campaign, but he suffered a foot injury while playing for Germany in the IIHF World Championship that required surgery, so there may be an adjustment period before he gets back to his best.
