Boyd set up a Nick Schmaltz tally in the second period, which was the Coyotes' lone tally of the game. In the last five games, Boyd's been steady with a goal and two assists. The veteran center reached the 30-point mark for the first time in his career, posting a stat line of 13 goals, 17 assists, 67 shots on net, 58 hits, 49 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in 63 appearances.
