Devils' Cory Schneider: Gives up four goals in OT loss as slump continues

Schneider gave up four goals on 33 shots en route to an overtime loss in Chicago on Thursday.

He entered in the midst of a slump, which is a truly terrible time to face the Blackhawks, so Schneider was probably not deployed in a massive number of fantasy lineups Thursday. The 30-year-old's last six starts have been simply brutal -- he's taken five losses (two in overtime) and given up 22 goals on 166 shots, good for an .875 save percentage. Backup Keith Kinkaid has filled in for him competently a couple times recently, so Schneider owners should keep an eye out for who gets the starting nod Saturday in Nashville.
