Blackwood (MCL sprain) has been placed on injured reserve.
The move is retroactive to Nov. 3, when he was injured in a game against Edmonton. Blackwood is 4-2-0 with a 2.79 GAA and an .880 save percentage. The Devils recalled Nico Daws in a corresponding move.
